A girl with fair skin, thick hair, and plump pink lips was in her own dreamland, enjoying a peaceful sleep as if she wasn't going to sleep for a week. Then, her alarm rang.

Aarohi POV

Ugh! This alarm always disturbs my sleep, yaar! I sat up on my bed and realized it was the second day of my period. Why? Why? Why? My stomach ached like hell. Yesterday was Sunday, the first day of my period, and today was Monday. Why couldn't Sunday last for two days? Why just one day?

This company doesn't allow me to take a leave without prior notice, and I've already done it twice. If I do it a third time, they'll chase me out like a dog. Well, I couldn't do anything about periods; it's the same every time – just bear the pain and work. Nothing else.

I got up from bed and took a warm shower to ease the pain. I wore a black sleeveless kurti and black plazo; usually, I wear jeans, but today I couldn't. I wanted to cry, but there was no one to comfort me. So sad.

My best friend Trisha ,my Aashuuuuu, a doctor, wasn't around; I guessed she was at the hospital.

I did some light makeup and drank warm water. I didn't feel like eating breakfast – just Cup noodles or ramen, nothing special, but I loved them. I took my scooter and headed to the office.

After half an hour, I reached the office and took the public lift to my work floor. As I entered, I heard a sweet voice – my crush's voice. "Good morning," he said with a sweet yet dark, heavy voice. I turned toward him, and it was the first good thing about my morning. "Good morning," I said with a sweet smile and a joyful face.

He was handsome, with a height above 6 feet, dark hazel eyes, and long eyelashes. He was Ayan – I didn't know his surname yet. He worked in the same department as me and had joined a week ago.
