It was 4 am in the morning.

A man, 6'2" tall with dark hazel brown eyes and a dark aura, entered a basement where a middle-aged man was tied and half-dead. When their eyes met, the middle-aged man suddenly looked down, unable to tolerate Avyaan's powerful gaze. That dark aura was none other than Avyaan Dixit himself.

"Speak up," Avyaan said in a heavy, dark voice.

"I-I am so sorry," the man stammered, but couldn't complete his sentence as Avyaan placed his foot on the man's hand and crushed it with his shoe.

"Don't fumble; just speak" Avyaan said. He hated people who fumbled during conversations.

"Please forgive me; I will never do it again. I am sorry" the middle-aged man pleaded.

"Well, my men did you a favor by keeping you alive, and you're still able to speak. Not bad, but not for long," Avyaan said.

Avyaan stood up from his seat, took a dagger, and cut off one of the man's hands. "If I leave you capable of doing it again, then you'll do it again, and everyone knows the consequences of betraying me."

"Well, how much money did he give you to cheat on me and try to hurt my family?" Avyaan asked. The man remained silent.

"Speak before I cut out your tongue," Avyaan said, holding the dagger to the man's throat.

"50 lakh," the man said hurriedly.

"Tchk tckh, you just cheated on me for 50 lakh?" Avyaan said, pressing the dagger deeper into the man's neck.

"Please, I am sorry. Please leave me; I have a family," the man begged.

"You should have thought about your family before cheating on me," Avyaan said, taking out his gun and shooting the man right there. "This is the consequence for those who even think about hurting my family."

"Clean up the mess," Avyaan said, then turned and left the basement, heading towards his house. In the whole world, he loved his family and his lady above all else. He entered his house and went to his room, the mansion silent, proof that everyone was sleeping, unaware of his protection.

He was always there to protect his family and his lady. He was the only son of his parents, with two cousin sisters (Tanya as Tanu, and Akansha as Akku) and one cousin brother, Mihir.

On the other side, unaware of this world, a girl was sleeping peacefully, as if there was no tomorrow.
